Gusau, April 6, 2026 — The National Leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the appointment of a Zamfara State Congress Committee to oversee the conduct of the party’s forthcoming congresses in the state. The appointment, which was conveyed through the Office of the National Organizing Secretary, is part of ADC’s preparations for its congresses scheduled to take place at the Polling Unit, Ward, Local Government, and State levels. However, a closer look at the details reveals more cause for concern than celebration. At the Council’s meeting on Monday, 20th October 2025, it was announced that the first phase of the road, awarded to Dantata and Sawoe Construction Company, had seen only 10 kilometres completed out of the planned 30.
