CSACEFA Marks 25 Years of Advocacy for Education in Nigeria.

The Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA) has celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter of a century of advocacy, partnership, and service in promoting inclusive and equitable education across Nigeria.

Speaking on the occasion, the Zamfara State Coordinator of CSACEFA, Comrade Abdullahi Lawali Bungudu, described the milestone as “a remarkable achievement in the struggle for quality education for all Nigerians, especially the most marginalized groups, including women, children, and persons with disabilities.”

According to him, CSACEFA has over the years remained a strong voice for the voiceless, championing education policies and programs that prioritize access for every child.

He noted that in Zamfara State, the coalition has been instrumental in mobilizing communities, strengthening accountability in the education sector, and partnering with government and stakeholders to tackle challenges facing basic and secondary education.

“Education is not a privilege but a fundamental human right and the foundation for peace, development, and prosperity,” Bungudu emphasized.

As the coalition celebrates its silver jubilee, he called on government, civil society, development partners, traditional and religious leaders, parents, and teachers to redouble their efforts in ensuring that no child is left behind.

On behalf of the Zamfara State chapter, Bungudu congratulated CSACEFA on the historic anniversary and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the right to education for every child in the state and across Nigeria.
