The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Zamfara State Chapter, extends its warm congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Zamfara State, Nigeria, and across the world on the occasion of Eid-il-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The leadership of the party in the state, under the guidance of respected stakeholders including former Inspector General of Police MD Abubakar, Hon. Shehu Mai Shanu Gulubba, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Salleh (Baraden Maru), Hajiya Karima Sama’ila (Kauranamoda), the State Chairman Alhaji Kabiru Garba, and the State Secretary Dr. Ahmad Hashim, extends heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all Muslims on this auspicious occasion.

While celebrating this Eid, the ADC Zamfara State Chapter calls on leaders at all levels to reflect deeply on the lessons of Ramadan—sacrifice, justice, accountability, and compassion—and translate them into purposeful and people-oriented governance.

The party expresses concern over the persistent security challenges, economic hardship, and social difficulties facing the people of Zamfara State. We urge those in positions of authority to rise above partisan interests and take decisive, transparent, and people-centered actions that will restore peace, protect lives and property, and improve the welfare of citizens.

ADC reaffirms its unwavering commitment to providing credible, people-focused, and accountable leadership that prioritizes the safety, dignity, and prosperity of all Zamfara citizens.

Furthermore, the party calls on all eligible citizens, especially young people and women, to actively participate in the democratic process by registering for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) through the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. The power to bring about meaningful change lies in the hands of the people.

In addition, the ADC encourages citizens to take advantage of its ongoing online membership registration drive and join a growing political movement dedicated to justice, equity, and sustainable development.

As we celebrate Eid, we call on the good people of Zamfara to remain united, law-abiding, and hopeful, while collectively working towards a better and more secure future for our state and nation.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Zamfara State Chapter, wishes all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-il-Fitr. May Allah (SWT) accept our acts of worship and grant lasting peace, security, and prosperity to Zamfara State and Nigeria.

It has become increasingly alarming that these celebrations—particularly those involving our young children—are gradually drifting away from the ethical, cultural, and religious standards expected in our society. In many instances, the interactions between boys and girls during such events are inappropriate, and contradict the moral values and teachings of Islam. ADC Begins Distribution of Membership Cards, Registers Across 14 LGAs

  Gusau, Zamfara – July 19, 2025 The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially commenced the distribution of membership cards and registration booklets across the 14 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Zamfara State. The exercise was led by the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Kabiru Garba Gusau , during a strategic meeting held early Saturday morning in Gusau. The meeting brought together LGA chairmen, secretaries, women leaders, youth leaders, and members of the state executive committee. Speaking at the event, Hon. Kabiru Garba Gusau emphasized the need for fairness, transparency, and inclusivity in the distribution process.
