Over 200 Members from APC and PDP Decamp to ADC in Gummi LGA
In a significant boost to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), over 200 members from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) officially decamped to the ADC in Gummi Local Government Area yesterday.
The decampees, who were drawn from various wards across the LGA, cited lack of internal democracy and poor leadership in their former parties as reasons for their decision. They pledged their loyalty and commitment to the ADC, describing it as the most credible alternative for progress in Zamfara State.
Speaking during the event, Chairman ADC Gummi LGA welcomed the new members and reaffirmed the party's commitment to inclusive politics, transparency, and youth empowerment.
The mass defection is seen as a major political gain for the ADC ahead of the upcoming general elections.
