Zamfara ADC Chairman Meets Party Leadership from Western Zone in Talata Mafara
Talata Mafara, Zamfara State – July 23, 2025
The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara State, Kabiru Garba, convened a crucial strategic meeting with party leaders from the Western Senatorial Zone of the state in Talata Mafara Local Government Area.
The meeting, held on Wednesday, brought together zonal and local government party executives, elders, and key stakeholders across the zone to deliberate on the strengthening of the party structure ahead of the upcoming bye-election and other political engagements in the state.
In his opening remarks, the ADC Chairman emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization, internal unity, and consistent engagement with voters. He commended the Western Zone leaders for their resilience, especially in areas facing insecurity and political intimidation.
“We are building a people-oriented party with strong grassroots support. This meeting is part of our statewide consultation to reposition ADC as the credible alternative in Zamfara politics,” said Kabiru Garba.
Stakeholders from Maru, Bakura, Mafara, and Anka LGAs presented reports on ongoing membership drives, youth and women engagement, and challenges faced at the local level. The meeting concluded with a unanimous commitment to grow the party’s presence and defend its values of transparency, justice, and inclusive governance.
The ADC in Zamfara has recently witnessed a wave of defections and growing support across the state, especially following the chairman’s recent visits to political elders and community leaders in Gusau.
