SENATOR LAWAL HASSAN ANKA BAGS WAPOWA AWARD

The Acting President of West Africa Political Writers Association Comrade Musa Mohammed said that Senator Lawal Hassan Anka Representing Zamfara West deserves the award bestowed on him by the West Africa writers association, as a result of his stewardship during his two term tenure as member house of representative and his representation in the National Assembly as a senator.


Comrade Mohammed made the statement during an award presentation to Senator Senator Lawal Hassan Anka on Thursday in Abuja.


The Ag. President said Senator Anka has proven that he understands the meaning of democracy and the way it works.



He said the Senator is in his element as a thorough bred politician and a true democrat.


“Even when he was a Member Federal House If Representative, we all

remembered how and what he has done in his constituency and the National Assembly (Green chambers).

As a senator too, Lawal Anka displayed high level skills in brinkmanship. Personally, impressed with his style from his days as member house of representative 

He looks quiet but very deep. He is a fantastic listener, soft spoken and a humble man”.


 Responding, Senator Lawal Anka expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the awards. 


He expressed delight for the award.


He said, "Iam quite humble by the award, considering the category of the award which is one of the most outstanding senators in Nigeria that uplift their constituents.


The Senator promised to continue uplifting his constituents.
