His Excellency, the Zamfara State Executive Governor, Hon. Dr. Bello Mohammed MON (Matawallen Maradun) extends his CONGRATULATIONS to the new leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Zamfara though under an acting capacity of the leadership of Comrade Bello Ibrahim Boko.


His Excellency is particularly happy that the union under its constitution does not leave a vacuum by endorsing the Vice-chairman to act.


He thanked all members of the union in the state for supporting his administration and particularly notes and commends the renewed commitment of the new leadership to support the administration in the fight against armed banditry in order to bring lasting peace in the state and to open it more for development.


The Shattiman Sokoto also promised to partner with the state council of the union and its national body under Chief Chris Isiguzo in order to advance the cause of the union at all levels.
