DAPMO Pays Courtesy Visit to FUG Registrar, Hajiya Nafisa Barau Suleiman Maru.

The Dansadau Progressive Movement (DAPMO) on 26th June, 2025 paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Registrar of the Federal University Gusau (FUG), Hajiya Nafisa Barau Suleiman Maru, at her office in Gusau.

The delegation, comprising prominent sons of the Dansadau Emirate, was led by the Secretary of the association, Yahaya Sani Dansadau, who introduced members of the entourage. Among them were Alhaji Adamu Ribado, a seasoned politician and traditional titleholder; Hon. Bala Labbo Dansadau, Wakilin Dansadau; Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Dansadau, Chairman of the association; Aliyu Attahiru Dansadau, Auditor of Maru Local Government, Malam Sabi'u Ibrahim Principalof GSSSDansadau; and Hon. Nasiru Abdullahi Dansadau.



Also present in the delegation were Nura Muayuwa Dansadau from the Ministry of Finance; Kamal Ismail Dansadau, a lecturer at the Zamfara College of Arts and Science; Sani Ilyasu Dansadau and Abba S. Kudu, both staff of the Federal University Gusau; Mohammed Kabir Abdulmumin of e-Health Africa; and Hon. Zayyanu Saidu Kuyambana.



In her remarks, Hajiya Nafisa expressed profound gratitude for the visit, describing it as heartwarming and encouraging. She pledged her commitment to fostering development in Maru Local Government and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of Zamfara State through her new role.

In his closing address, the Chairman of DAPMO, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Dansadau, offered prayers for the Registrar's success, protection, and guidance as she assumes her responsibilities at the university.

The visit marks a significant moment of unity and encouragement between the university leadership and grassroots stakeholders in Zamfara State.
