Zamfara Central ADC Aspirant Condoles Maru Emirate

The Aspirant for Zamfara Central Senatorial District under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Alhaji Abubakar Saleh Ruwan Doruwa Baraden Maru, extends his heartfelt condolences to the Maru Emirate, the people of Zamfara State, and the family of the late Dr. Ashiru Maru over his passing.

The death of Dr. Ashiru Maru is a great loss to the Maru Emirate and Zamfara State at large. He was a respected personality whose contributions to the development and wellbeing of his community will be remembered.

We pray that Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family, relatives, and the entire Maru Emirate the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.

May Allah grant him eternal rest. Ameen.

  Initiative targets missed and under-immunised children across 10 wards as stakeholders strengthen collaboration SHINKAFI, ZAMFARA — September , 2026: Health Standard Concern Organization (HESCO), in partnership with the Sultan Foundation for Peace and Development (SFPD), has launched the Z-TRACE Project , an initiative aimed at identifying, tracking and connecting zero-dose and under-immunised children with essential routine immunisation services in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The initiative was unveiled during a stakeholder engagement meeting held on Monday at Guraguri Model Primary School, Shinkafi , with representatives of the health authorities, community stakeholders and other partners participating in discussions on how to close immunisation gaps across the local government’s 10 wards.
