Zamfara State Government created three (3) additional ministries and restructure five (5) existing ones. This was announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Bala Bello Maru.  "His Excellency, the Zamfara State Executive Governor Hon. Dr. Bello Mohammed, MON (Matawallen Maradun) has approved the creation of three new additional ministries in the state, which makes the total of ministries to 22. This is in accordance with dynamic nature of governance and to allow for effective service delivery" he said. The newly created ministries are as follows. 1. Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism  2. Ahmad Ibrahim Gusau has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and collapses all his former party's structure for Matawalle.  Engr. It has come to the attention of Zamfara state Government a story carried by Sahara reporters on a certain report of a repentant bandit divulging the reasons of his decision  to take up arms. However, the picture accompanying  this story is that of His Excellency Governor Bello Mohammed and Hon Rabiu Abubakar aka Emir. Hon. Abubakar is a prominent APC member and a strong pillar of the Kabiru Garba Marafa camp who decided to decamp and join the PDP in total support of Governor Bello Mohammed’s administration. Dr. Bello Mohammed MON (Matawallen Maradun) extends his CONGRATULATIONS to the new leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Zamfara though under an acting capacity of the leadership of Comrade Bello Ibrahim Boko.   His Royal Highness Emir of Dansadau, Alhaji Hussaini Umar paid a courtesy visit at Yartashar Sahabi market in search of permanent peace in Dansadau Emirate and state at large. In his speech, the Sarkin Kudu of Dansadau called upon peaceful coexistence between Hausa and Fulani considering the fact that none of them can can saperate from each other due to intermarriage between them. "We will work tirelessly and do whatever we can to see that peace return in our Emirate, Local government, Zamfara State and Nigeria at large" the Emir said.
