ADC Appoints Zamfara State Congress Committee Ahead of Party Congresses
Gusau, April 6, 2026 — The National Leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the appointment of a Zamfara State Congress Committee to oversee the conduct of the party’s forthcoming congresses in the state. The appointment, which was conveyed through the Office of the National Organizing Secretary, is part of ADC’s preparations for its congresses scheduled to take place at the Polling Unit, Ward, Local Government, and State levels. According to the announcement, Mohamed Mainasara will serve as Chairman of the committee, while Ambassador Zubairu Yelwa, Mni, will act as Secretary. Other members of the committee include Shehu Muhd Maishanu, Dr. Ahmad Hashim, and Mallam Muhammadu Bako. The party also released a timetable for the congress activities. Screening of aspirants is scheduled for April 7, followed by appeals on April 8.
