DANSADAU EMIRATE: THE FORGOTTEN KINGDOM

Dansadau is a town located at 100 kilometres the south of Gusau, the capital city of Zamfara state. It shares border with Kebbi State at the west, Kaduna state at the south and east and some part of Katsina at the east. Dansadau emirate consist five district, these includes; Dansadau, Dangulbi, Dankurmi, Bindin and Kuyambana respectively. Most of the people that are living in these five districts are predominantly farmers and businessmen while small population among them are civil servants. God blessed Dansadau emirate with abundant and fertile land suitable for farming of variety of crops during both rainy and dry seasons added to available mineral resources which consist gold, iron, tantalite, copper, e.t.c. It was once said if Zamfara state government can utilize these resources, it can sustain the state without waiting for Federal Government statutory allocation.
