                        Members of the state House of Assembly have today unanimously voted  in favour of impeaching the state Deputy Governor in person of Barr Mahdi Aliyu Muhammad Gusau from office .  The decision of the House to vote for his impeachment followed a motion moved by the state Deputy speaker and chairman House committee on Public Accounts Hon Musa Bawa Musa Yankuzo and dully seconded by Hon Yusuf Alhassan Kanoma Maru North. Senator representing Zamfara Central Senatorial District, Senator Hassan Nasiha has described political party leadership as most challenging as the leaders have to come in contact with all sorts of people each wanting to be given individual attention and satisfaction. A two time governorship candidate under the PDP in 2015 and PPN in 2019 as well as the defunct CPC political leader in Zamfara and close ally to former governor Abdulaziz Yari, Alhaji Bashir Adamu Imad has dumped Yari and joined governor Bello Matawalle and the mainstream APC in Zamfara state. Former Zamfara state governor, Alhaji Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi has expressed confidence in the state's leadership of the All Progressives Congress APC led by Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani.   First civilian governor of Zamfara state, Senator Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura has declared that there will be no vacancy at the Government House, Gusau ahead of the 2023 governorship election of the state. The Zamfara state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani was today sworn-in as National Executive Council NEC member of the party at the APC National Headquarters, Abuja. Danfulani was sworn-in along with 35 other state chairmen of the party who emerged winners in all the states of the federation and Abuja following the state congresses of the party held throughout the country. The swearing-in of the new NEC members was administered by the Caretaker Chairman of the APC Extraordinary Convention Comittee and Yobe State Governor, Hon.
